Scott	Lawrence	1967	George Medal	DS	Threatened with a rifle when he attempted to arrest a prison escapee in a house at Highbury. The suspect tried to fire the gun at him but the bullet transpired to be of the wrong calibre, and did not work.

Wheelhouse	Michael James	1966	George Medal	PC	With DS Peter Woodmore. Involved in a prolonged chase between Kingston and Chelsea of the driver of a stolen car in which two police officers, including PC Wheelhouse were shot and wounded, and a police dog killed. DS Woodmore arrested the prisoner.
Whitham	Douglas	1966	George Medal	PC	With other officers, dealt with an escaped prisoner in a roof top incident under gun fire. The prisoner was eventually arrested after the officers used a broom handle and other means to prevent him escaping in a car.
Williams	Phillip John Dixon	1969	George Medal	TDC	With DS John Wharton The officers intercepted an armed gang in the course of a bank raid in Streatham. PC Williams made several attempts with his motorcycle to run down an armed robber who repeatedly threatened him and fired a gun.
