1931 

A revision of boundaries of P, W and Z Divisions took place in 1931. Thornton Heath station closed, whilst Streatham and Wallington were transferred from W to Z with effect from 12 October 1931 (PO 9 October 1931).      The Police Order confirmed Tooting, Mitcham, Sutton, Epsom and Banstead on W Division.   Croydon, Streatham, Gipsy Hill, Norbury, South Norwood, Wallington and Kenley were then on Z Division. 

1932 

From 4 January 1932, a reorganisation of No 4 District took place (PO 1 January 1932).

St Mary Cray and Chislehurst moved from R to P Division.

Brixton was transferred from W to L Division but retained its status as the Divisional station of the reorganised L Division.

Kennington Road was moved from L to M Division

Camberwell and Peckham were transferred from P to L Division

Carter Street moved from M to L Division.

Lavender Hill and Battersea moved from L to W Division.

Kennington Lane (L) and Rodney Road (M) were closed. 

1933 

In 1933, other Districts reorganised on various dates: 

On 1 June 1933 (PO 30 May 1933):

Kings Cross Road moved from G to E

Commercial Street moved from H to G

Limehouse, Poplar, Isle of Dogs and Bow transferred from K to H.

Islington transferred from N to G.

Dalston moved from J to G Division

Bethnal Green moved from J to H Division

Bow and Poplar transferred from K to H Division 

On K Division, Forest Gate was then a sectional station on West Ham sub division.   Chadwell Heath was a sectional station on Ilford sub division.

On G Division, Dalston was a sectional station on Islington Sub Division.

On H Division, Bethnal Green was a sectional station on Bow Sub Division.

 On 1 August 1933:

Kentish Town, Holloway, Caledonian Road, Somers Town transferred from Y to N Division. 

Cheshunt, Enfield Highway/Ponders End, Tottenham and Edmonton moved from N to Y.  

Walthamstow, Chingford and Waltham Abbey moved from N to J Division.

Lea Bridge Road (N), East Barnet (Y) and Upper Holloway (Y) stations closed.

 On J Division, Leytonstone was a sectional station on Leyton Sub Division.   Wanstead, Barkingside, Claybury and Loughton were sectional stations on Walthamstow Sub Division.  Chingford and Waltham Abbey were sectional stations on Walthamstow Sub Division.

On N Division, Highbury Vale was a sectional station on Holloway Sub Division.

On S Division, Whetstone, Shenley, South Mimms and Potters Bar were sectional stations on Barnet Sub Division.

On Y Division, New Southgate and Winchmore Hill were sectional stations on Wood Green Sub Division.   Highgate and Muswell Hill were sectional stations on Wood Green Sub Division.   Southgate, Enfield Highway and Cheshunt were sectional stations on Enfield Sub Division.

 Also on 1 August 1933:

Acton and Ealing moved from X to T Division.

Southall became a sub-division of Ealing on T Division.

Shepherds Bush was transferred from T to F Division

Chiswick transferred from T to F Division

Wealdstone moved from S to X Division

Potters Bar moved from Y to S Division

 On 1 December 1933:

Tottenham Court Road moved from D to C

Paddington transferred from F to D

Albany Street and St John’s Wood moved from S to D
